Sewing class recommendation...Costume making from your local community college's theatre department.

I am taking a costume making class at my local community college and holy smokes, I am learning so much.

I am self taught, and therefore don't know what I don't know. This class has plugged so many holes I didn't know I had. The instructor is the wardrobe mistress for the theatre department. She has a graduate degree in costume design (and has worked in professional theatre) and knows her stuff. My garment finishing skills have vastly improved.

I have taken classes in the past, mostly through community ed, and I learned from them too, but this one has been extremely useful, and not that expensive considering the amount of time I get to spend working with her tools in her costume shop and picking her brain.
