Using Unifi cameras with HomeKit without running Protect (no UDM, UNVR, G2+) with Scrypted RTSP plugin.

Is there any disadvantage of using Unifi cameras with RTSP only? I have 3 G3 Flex cameras that I successfully added to Homekit and got them working with HKSV as well (thx to the OpenCV motion detection plugin)

I was about to buy a Cloudkey Gen2+ used, but If I don’t care about 24/7 local recording, looks like I dont need it anymore? You need it for the Unifi Protect plugin, but not RTSP.
