Funny history on how me and my friend ended up with extremely rare professionally painted evangelion garage kits

First off, I'd like to say I posted this before from my other account (i.e. I posted about Asuka)..Well, now I'll tell the history behind these two professionaly painted original vispo GKs.

Her Rei x My Asuka

It all started at a morning two weeks ago, I opened facebook and I stumble across a marketplace post selling both Rei and Asuka for $400, I thought to myself, this can't be real can this?
I then immediately contacted my Rei fan friend, and we decided that no, these kits would be ours, so I managed to ask him to give us 15 days to get the money to pay for them because she doesn't have a job and works as a freelance artist and I only get paid once a month.
Long story short-3 days in-We manage to get $400. And well..here they are. Now we have matching figures.
PS: Not the gathering versions, we managed to confirm they're official!
