No friends who golf :(

Hello Reddit, I’ve recently gotten the golf bug and have been practicing for about 4 months at this point at a local range that’s right down the street from my house.

Have only been able to get on an actual course with one of my buddies and a few of his friends, only problem is they live about 2 hours away. Have been dying to get back on the course but don’t have a foursome to go with as none of my other friends are interested in this amazing sport.

Would you guys recommend going solo?

I still suck pretty bad lol so don’t want to hinder any experienced players I may get paired up with.

Or should I just keep practicing on the range until I can find a foursome or get good enough to not make a complete ass out of myself?
