Occasional Hard Start J35 Acura TLX

Have a 2017 Acura TLX sh-awd with 40k miles. Filled up at the gas station the other day and when going to start the car the engine cranked over for a split second and then stopped cranking. Thinking it was something silly like a sensor for the gas door I reopened the gas door and closed it again but the car still wouldn’t start. Pressed the start button 3 more times with the same result and finally on the 4th time it started.

When I got home I took my Multimeter and checked the battery voltage and the connections. Both were fine with the battery was reading 12.40 volts ( I checked it the next morning and reading was the same.) I started the car and tested the voltage on the alternator and was charging at 14.5 volts on the alternator and battery so it’s not the charging system. I guess last thing to check would be the starter?

Weirdest part is that it only happens occasionally, and only when trying to start the car within a few minutes of it being off. Really hope it’s not something with the wiring that’s screwed. I disabled the auto stop feature a couple weeks ago and was also wondering if the comouter doesn’t like it and that’s why it’s being fussy.
