Driving in/out

What’s it like driving in/out in terms of traffic times? My ride is planning to drive from the hotel about 20 min south east to EDC via I-4. In my experience traffic in Orlando is a nightmare under the best conditions so I’m just wondering if I should suggest something else. Thanks!
