8bitdo Ultimate "Driver Error" When connecting via 2.4ghz (Dongle inside the dock)

Recently my 8bitdo Ultimate (Limited Edition Retro) started acting up and would get a Driver Error message every time I connect via 2.4ghz. I updated the drivers for both the dongle and the controller but it didn't work. I also uninstalled all the xbox 360 peripheral drivers in the device manager then re-connected but it still didn't work. After the previous attempts I tried to change USB ports, also didn't work.

After trying the previous methods I figured it would be fixed if I downgraded my firmware. It did NOT work. Lastly I connected the dongle directly to the pc instead of through the usb passthrough on the dock and it finally worked. However, I'd like to keep it in the dock so it doesn't take up an extra port, any fixes?
