Today I made the classic rookie mistake
Been building and selling computers for 17 or so years now. Today I was building a friend a new build. Had it built and windows installed within 45 minutes. Doing some basic tests I notice the CPU was hovering around 55c. I then spent further hour playing with fan speeds and curves and the CPU was still in the 50s at idle.
Then i thought to my self. Surely I couldn't of done that right? I can't have done that. But I did the check I took the cooler off and low and behold I left the damn sticker on the plate 😬.
Not the first time I have done this but it's been a good few years and many system builds back since I last did it.
