What is with Christi?

Okay, I know this is kind of a delayed reaction to the situation but I’m sort of just now realizing how weird the whole thing is. Side note to the Christi stan’s don’t come at me, I’m entitled to my opinion just like you’re lol.

It just rubs me the wrong way how she hates dance moms, didn’t like answering questions or having any attention on her, didn’t want anything to do with the spotlight, etc, for the entire length of their time on the show AND many years after they left, but then dance moms starts trending on tiktok and she’s all over it. flash forward a few years later and shes built a whole ass career off of talking about any and all things that have to do with the show she hated, and now she loves the attention and honestly, imo seems to feed off of it, it’s just weird. Yes, people will say it’s her trauma too and she can talk about it if she wants and I 100% agree, I’m just saying it’s weird to me how she went from trying to get back to a normal person to being this big “influencer” like?? It’s just confusing, bc she used to seem humble but now I can see the newfound fame has given her an ego.

It also doesn’t sit right with me the way she constantly talks about Maddie in the podcast, when Kelly is still close with the Ziegler’s. Like, it’s weird how she still seems to expect Kelly to just take her side, even though clearly it’s a different dynamic bc Kelly was always a mother figure to Melissa’s kids, bc their families were so close. It just seems disrespectful to me. Obviously, the producers made it appear like Kelly and Christi were always against Melissa, and would team up against her even if Maddie was involved, but I don’t think that was the case as much as they made it seem like it was. I think most of us can agree, that often times Kelly was over it and didn’t want to deal with Christi’s complaints. Who was the one comforting Melissa’s kids when Christi was screaming over Chloe beating her? Kelly. She wouldn’t stoop that low just bc another child was being treated unfairly, Christi on the other hand never seemed to care, and it’s disheartening to see that she’s still the same way for the most part.

Idk, what are y’all’s thoughts? I just feel like it’s weird how Christi has changed.
