how many hextech chests have you all got on backlog?

so, i have 24 hextech chests and the number is only growing because i don't generate keys or fragments nearly as fast. for some context, i mostly play arams nowadays which i understand will generate chests faster if only because there's more extremes in aram, but surely not so much to have this many chests and no way to open them.

so really, my question is have they purposefully made it easier to get chests than fragments so you're more likely to buy keys? or am i just bad at the game, which is fully possible also
