[Landlord - TX] Will I get money back at tax time if I’m operating at a loss?

Hey everyone, I’m officially a landlord wooooo hooooOOOooo.. not going to make any $ because I didn’t realize how much taxes would increase, but we will only be -$80/month (excluding any unforeseen situations) …I hope to MAYBE get that back come tax time??? Anyway, wanted to say hello 👋🏻 (And even though we are operating at a loss I am thinking it’s worth it as at least the mortgage and insurance is being paid for “free”.. all that we are short on are some taxes 🥲)
