4 y/o + Mommy in Roommette

My 4 y/o and I will be taking an overnight trip in a roommette. We currently cosleep and she’s hard of hearing. I don’t want to leave her alone on the bottom bunk so I was thinking I’d sleep on one end and her on the other.

To make more sleeping space do you think one of those inflatable airplane feet rests would fit in that small walkway space? Maybe bring two to place side by side? This way I could lie sideways - feet would be on the bottom step with the inflatable foot rest(s) under my legs/hip.
