Guy texted after leaving me hanging for two days to confirm date

We initially planned a date for tomorrow. He texted tonight to confirm. However, before this, he left me on read for 2 days.

My text to him wasn't a generic response, but a question.

Is it petty to tell him that I assumed this wasn't happening since he left me hanging and I made other plans? Or should I hear him out? This is only the 3rd date.
