Phantom shifts

How do you phantom shift? I've tried everything I can think of. But none of it has worked. I've only had 1 phantom shift in my whole life. It only lasted for like 2 seconds and was a kentrosaurus/stegosaurus (idk),wich aren't even my theriotype. I would love to experience feeling my theriotypes limbs (sorry if that sounds weird),but idk how.
