Being a vegan teen sucks

I know im preaching to the choir rn but man its really disheartening to be a vegan teen. I love my friends but none of them are vegan and sometimes i feel like it would be nice to be friends with someone whos vegan and just as passionate as i am about it!! Ive looked for vegans at my school for years and there are a couple but theyre all like organic granola health vegans (which i TOTALLY dig no disrespect to them i just wish we had more in common). I even signed up for a vegan youth program at a local sanctuary which has been the best time of my life but not ONE other student volunteer there is vegan😭😭its super weird too like theyll talk about how much they love pork and then turn around and pet a pig. Im hoping one of them goes vegan after spending time with the animals at least and i still get along with them it just felt like i missed my one opportunity to meet vegans my age!!! Someone tell me does it get better when ur an adult?☹️
