Explore App stops updating location

I created a course on the Explore app and am using my Inreach Mini 2 as the gps. When using my iPhone to guide me on the course, after a few minutes my location stops moving while the course while my Inreach continues to move. It seems like the data transfer from the Inreach to the Explore app isn’t continuously syncing.

My goal is to mount my phone on my motorcycle handlebars and use the Explore app to guide me through the course.

Do you have any suggestions? Or does the map function on the Explore app not work that way?
