Thoughts on AI, Abominable Intelligence, and Machine Spirits

Heresy

The difference between Abombinable Intelligence and Machine Spirits

Machine spirits have an artificial soul, created by entangling particles. This creates a reflection in the warp, just as humans, with their soul, are an expression of the warp. This is also how the Machine Spirits of Titans can shepherd the souls of their Princeps through the demon infested warp. The titan already has a very real presence in the immaterium. In turn, this is why Titans can become corrupted by the warp.

In otherwise inanimate machines, this may literally just be a few entangled particles in the handle, grip, etc that makes the user a bit lucky, or feel more confident when wielding it.

But in complex machines with AI, combine enough entangled particles and you get a singularity that....is self aware. Can think, feel, make decisions. It is a true articial intelligence, with an artificially generated soul that reflects in the warp.

So abominable intelligences? They are chatgpt. They are thinking machines without souls. Everything is deterministic, there is no probabalistic decision making, and through algorythms, they perpetuate, infecting the human-AI ecosystem, removing the free will of human and AI alike. When the abominable intelligence manifests at certain scales, it so prevents probability in a local space that it literally deletes the locality at a quantum level. It truly ceases to exist. Also see that Necron doomsday weapon.

So basically someway, somehow, Abominable Intelligence got loosez and spread like cancer through a civilization that consisted of:
Men of Stone - Humans Men of Iron - Artificial Beings with no soul, so no probabalistic decision making, ie, quantum magic.
Men of Gold - fully manifested beings that are both flesh, and iron, with a naturally produced soul, AND an artificially created soul. My vote is that the men of Gold Were Necrons that fused with the souls of the Old Ones, beings of the warp, with an AI.

Anyway, feel free to shred it. See what I missed.

Also, I see ya'll!!!! waves
