Madden 24 PC restricted from online features

I got a deal from steam where I get EA play for a month for 1 dollar, and I downloaded the Madden 24 free trial. When I open the game, it says "Account has been restricted from online features" Is there a way to fix this? Why is it saying this? Thanks
