Irvine Company apartment process and timeline questions

Hi! I'm moving to the Irvine area in late-Jan, planning to rent a 1 bedroom apartment. First time renting an apartment so I would love some advice!

I'm mainly looking at Irvine Company apartments, hoping to get 2400~ a month. Currently there are deals for 2450 1 bed apartments until the end of Nov, not sure whether the price will be higher in Jan.

The main thing is that I won't be physically in Irvine until then. Could someone share what steps can be done online? Usually how long does Irvine Company take to approve everything and sign the lease? Can I pick which apartment if I don't physically show up? I don't mind staying in Airbnb/hotel for a short while to have a better look, but ideally aim for a shorter process.
