What's the story of your rescue dog?

We don't know much about my rescue (Turner), we can only theorize based on what we've seen. But it's clear he had a really hard life before he was found. His front right paw was broken and since he was lost in the woods with no vet it never healed properly so he has a limp. Also on his right side he has a deep scar and his right eye is kind of red. He had to get two surgeries to remove most of his teeth because they were horribly cracked and infected. He was adopted by another family before my family adopted him but they had to bring him back because he didn't get along with their other pets. He's a beagle and they're already prone to separation anxiety, but since he was abandoned and then one day brought back to a shelter after having a family his separation anxiety is terrible. Rest assured though, he's now a very happy, very spoiled dog. In fact a few days ago on november 2nd it was his 5 year anniversary, and he's around 13 and still very healthy! I'd love to hear the stories of other dogs being rescued and then treated with the love they deserve!
