new VR player with a bunch of questions

I just bought a quest3. Never played VR ever, just curious about good games in the survival genre. I already know subnautica, the forest, Minecraft, and green hell. Any others I should look for?

Also I want to play some FPS. How does that work?can I play with just the basic controllers? Or is it worth me investing in a VRgun?

Last question, what games are good for parents/ young kids that have never played any video games ever.
