Can't Decide Between Clicky, Linear, or Tactile for my Logitech MX Mechanical Mini – Advice?

Questions

Hey everyone!

A few weeks back, I made the leap and got myself the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini Wireless Illuminated Keyboard with the "clicky" switches. I'm absolutely loving its compact form factor and how seamlessly it pairs with my MacBook Pro.

However, I'm on the fence about whether I should stick with the clicky switches or switch to linear or tactile. Initially, the clicky sound was a bit much for me, but to my surprise, I quickly came to enjoy the tactile feedback and the audible clicks. I have ADHD, and the sensory experience seems to help me focus better.

But here's the rub: the noise level is starting to concern me, especially when I consider bringing the keyboard into quieter environments like my class or workplace. I'm still within the return window, so swapping it out is an option.

I've scoured through reviews and watched countless comparison videos, but I'm still struggling to grasp the exact differences between these switch types. I thought this community could offer some insight from real-world experience.

Do you think it's worth switching to a quieter linear or tactile variant, considering my need for a balance between sensory feedback and not being disruptive in quiet settings? Your thoughts and advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

TL;DR: Love the clicky switches on my new Logitech keyboard for their tactile experience which helps with my ADHD, but worried about the noise in quiet settings. Should I consider switching to a quieter linear or tactile switch? Looking for advice from those who've used them.
