Name for Characters in a Real-World setting

Need some ideas for characters in a story with a real world setting, (E.G. no "fantastical" names), just normal names with maybe a French or British flair due to the story being set in Quebec.
I have two characters already named Penelope and St. John (no relation to Jane Eyre), and need two more

One is the protagonist of the story, female and is very smart and cunning
The other is a male character whom should have a somewhat matching/complementary name whom is very quick witted and cool

Thank you in advance!
