Trazodone side effects

I’ve been getting more and more sleepy the longer I’m on trazodone.

My psychiatrist recently started me on trazodone. I took 12.5 mg/night for 3 days, 25 mg/night for 3 days, and I am now taking 37.5 mg/night for the next 3 days, and so on. We’re meeting again when I’ve been on 50 mg/night for three days to see if we should continue.

So today is day 7, and I’ve felt more and more tired every day. I know that antidepressants often have side effects that only appear in the beginning and then go away. Is tiredness one of them for trazodone? Should I push through?
