Okay, so you know how in the Evil's Soft First Touches quest Gestalt is in the shipwreck?

Why is it so close to Novigrad. They made it out as some far foreign land to which they have been sailing for a while. And then you crash, you have all your gear and its not even far from where you killed the toad prince.

Also, why Geralt didn’t even ask Gaunter O'dimm what will be the payback for his help?
