98 WRX VS STI?

Hello, I am in the midst of buying either a WRX or an STI and am looking for advice on which to get.

1998 Subaru Impreza WRX Version 4 GF8 JDM 12.5k$

146k km (timing belt changed)
Brand new wheels
Fujitsubo exhaust
Recently Painted

1998 Subaru Impreza WRX STi version 4 GC8 JDM 13.5k$

150km, Blitz suspension, Wedsport wheels, Cat back exhaust, turbo, oil pressure, and water temp gauges

The thing is the GF8 is super clean with the new paint job and well taken care of interior, while the GC8 needs new paint, the front bumper needs a little work, and the interior has been noticeably used.

So I either get the STI and work on its cosmetic over time. Or a get a clean WRX GF8 and upgrade little things like suspension.

This will be my daily driver, not trying to mod anything that will put too much stress on the engine because I want this car to last. Maybe I will track it, but not often. My wife and I want children soon, and while my wife will have a hatchback, maybe having another wouldn't be a bad idea.
