Best way to have high volition without fully building around psyche?

I finished my first playthrough with the default sensitive build, and am wanting to do a second one with something like the logician build since I missed a lot of the motorics/intelligence checks on my first time around. The thing is that I really want to get the passive volition checks so that I can hear the motivational lines throughout my playthrough. Is there a way to build such that I can still spec a lot into volition without having to spec too much into psyche and make my second playthrough really similar to my first, or am I better off just modding the game to increase my volition?
