Announcements, and Megathreads for Frequently Discussed Topics

Welcome to r/Jewish!

This collection includes important announcements, as well as megathreads covering common topics of interest here at r/Jewish. At present, these include:

• Politics Megathread: all political topics including elections, politicians, political leanings and tendencies, etc.
• "Am I Jewish?" Megathread: questions/discussions about matrilineality, patrilineality, DNA tests, discovery of Jewish ancestry, etc.
• Self-Defense / 2nd Amendment Megathread: questions/discussions about self-defense, gun rights and the 2nd amendment, etc.
• Supporting Jews Megathread: expressions of solidarity with Jews and questions/discussions about how Jews & non-Jews can support Jews, including in combatting antisemitism

Please keep discussion of those topics to these megathreads. Standalone posts will generally not be permitted on those matters, and they will be redirected to one of the megathreads.

We are keeping the Israel-Hamas War megathread as a separate stickied post, with its own collection, for the foreseeable future.
