Software engineering program /cs

Im looking at instate schools to transfer into for CS when I graduate with my associates of science. I saw CofC has a software engineering program that’s new does anyone know if it’s good or not. Also how are internships in the area and will this program actually help me swe skills as I want to be a software engineer post grad. I have a 4.0 GPA and I’m leaning more towards clemson’s cs program
