Monet Speaks Up

Monet posted this to her IG stories earlier today https://imgur.com/a/vRdNFDr

I could have sworn she posted something that seemed to favor Israel when this first started, but now seems to favor Palestine. I think it's very interesting, and I'm curious to see if her follower count/brand deals will be impacted.

I know there are new rules about 'no politics' and no 'israel/palestine' but respectfully, that's tone-deaf. This is a page dedicated to commentary about creators and influencers whose jobs rely on the current socioeconomic climate to influence and say what brands want them to say.

Influencers are talking about it, the news outlets are talking about it, and our governments are talking about it...I think we should all be able to chat about it in a silly little subreddit.

Besides, all the big PR houses, advertisers and influencer agencies are scrambling to make sure they say what they feel is right and make sure they understand the views their clients want them to portray. To ignore this (not just in the context of marketing) would simply be arrogant.

PS: can we get a flair going for Monet? It would be nice to add some diversity there.
