Updated to Fedora 39, keyboard backlight issue.

I think I've discovered a bug with the new keyboard backlight feature. It works perfectly well when my laptop is open, but when it is shut and plugged into an external monitor enabling the keyboard backlight freezes gnome-shell for a good 20 seconds (completely unresponsive). Should I report this issue to Fedora's bugzilla or GNOME?
