Jealous!

I've never heard of this director! Definitely will look into. Seems like a beautiful set.

Katsuhito Ishii is brilliant. I'd seen two of his films prior to getting this set (The Taste of Tea and Funky Forest) and I just watched Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl last night. The guy is a master of atmosphere and tone, I believe he used to direct commercials before he moved into film and it shows. Every scene has a super deliberate and engaging style, and it makes his films so easy to watch.
The set itself is rather nice. It's a digipack inside a slipcase and the artwork really suits the director.

Damn, that’s a killer signature. Does is say anything besides his name on the bottom or the top?
2
It definitely says something besides his name, but I don't know what.

How did you get it signed???

Is there any writing on the back of the packaging?
1
Yeah, all the info about the films is on the back of the slipcover.

Sorry, I meant if Katsuhito Ishii wrote anything on the back of the slipcover?
1
Nah, he didn't write anything on the back.

Neat!
