A shader or a Calus token.
Gonna guess it’s a Calus token sitting down there that fell off the map after coming out of a chest in a Leviathan raid.
most likely a cataylst or collectible item we cant know what unless you pick it up wich you cant

Although it can't have been a catalyst as those were added in warmind in 2018 lol
Definitely would have went to post, only way it would be missed if postmaster filled up, which in my experience never happened back then - at least not until y2 random rolls haha

Catalysts im pretty sure are exotic tier, and would be gold. most likely a Calus token or a shader

It looks like Prophecy but I don’t know timelines and I thing their light motes shine brighter or sparkle
“Mote shaped” drops are inventory items, so that’s a legendary. I believe Emperor Calus tokens dropped like that (legendary) and I actually think some of the emblems could drop in the same manner (also legendary). So it’s one of those two, and it must have fallen off the map when you were looting it from Calus
If you recall, the part after beating Calus with the chest happened on a raised platform above an abyss (with all the robots surrounding it) I’m pretty sure it’s there.
