Just to clarify, he quite because he likes genocide. He got upset that management below him said maybe Israel shouldn't murder children and blow up hospitals.

Why does everyone who supports peace lose their jobs?
Did you see that Scream actress got sacked by the Hollywood studio for "hate speech" because she suggested that maybe murdering children wasn't a nice thing to do? Specifically, she stated that they are committing genocide. A pov which the UN agrees with and even an Israeli scholar who is one of the world's leading authorities on the Holocaust described as "text book genocide".
The world is run by murdering psychopaths (some of whom ironically make films about murdering psychopaths for entertainment).
Yeah I saw that. I constantly hear that someone got fired or quit for speaking up for the Palestinians. It's nuts. Makes you about who is actually controlling the West.
It's not so much about who is "controlling the West" and more about the West's interests and prolonged foreign policy goals.
It benefits a lot of Western nations to have a State in the Middle East which is friendly to, and relies on trade, money, and arms from the West. A state that is not hostile to Western ideology and/or religion.
The West has always looked to destabilise the region so Israel is the perfect foil for that.
