First chapter of an ongoing novel I am writing and posting online (dm me if you want any links). I am completely new to writing, this being my first chapter ever. I am getting a bit frustrated with the entire experience of posting my work online as I am not getting much feedback. I don't really care about the the numbers or anything like that, I just want to see what people think. This subreddit seems like a great place for me to get some honest feedback. Please let me know what you think. I am particularly interested in what you all think about the characterisation in my work.
