Deck Help

Hello,

New to MTG, started playing with the LOTR set. My 6 yo loves dinosaurs so I got pretty excited with the LCI set and wanted to make a Gishath deck. My LGS pods tend to be pretty powerful, so I didnt want to just make a Pantlaza precon upgrade. Goal I tried to achieve is to ramp into land quick, have a lot of card draw and then go a bit Timmy and swing for a lot of damage. I struggle with land (probably other things too) and would like some constructive criticism.

Make sure you don't accidentally play [[marauding raptors]] and [[polyraptor]] at the same time unless you have a way to stop the loop

marauding raptors - (G) (SF) (txt) (ER)
polyraptor - (G) (SF) (txt) (ER)
^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

Thanks, I see how that could be a problem...

Yeah it just throws the game into a draw if no one removes the marauding raptors at some point in the interaction

I would definitely add more ramp/lands. As it really sucks to be stuck with a hand full of high mana dinos. and not being able to play any of them. and it also helps as you to get your commander out early. allowing you to bash people with your commander before they have defences in place.

I think the deck has enough ramp/cost reduction in it, between the 2 there are 18 pieces

Your mana curve is pretty high so maybe removing some of the higher cmc cards and replacing them with ramp or lands would help.
