We’re gonna need more info, MyIQIsBelow0
Sounds like a hardware issue, they just replied to my reply saying they had issues on nobara Linux too before Debian, has to be hardware, as you say, most likely ram
It can't be ram because I didn't get any errors in the memtest
Recently just happened? How long have you been running Debian on it? Did you update something just before it happened for the first time? Might be a hardware issue, bad ram, I dunno, just guesses
It's been happening since before I even installed Debian, and I've only been using Debian for about two weeks. The issue began to occur shortly after I switched from the "Official" build of Nobara to the KDE Nobara. I thought there was something wrong with the KDE build of Nobara, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I did a memory test, and the RAM seems to be fine.
What's nobara?? Isn't that a fedora based Linux distro?? I'm confused
So what you are saying is you were using nobara Linux and you and issues, then you started again and installed Debian and still had issues?? Then is not a Debian issue, got to be something hardware related then if you had the same problem on 2 very different Linux distros
I have a slight suspicion that something is going on with my SSD
Must be something like that
nobara != Debian.
Do you over clock your ram?
No, but apparently my memory is set to XMP2.
I'm aware that Nobara isn't Debian. I switched from Nobara to Debian.
I had a similar issue.
It was ....
....
My fucking office chair...
No joke.. static electricity from the chair cause my computer to freeze... Don't ask me how long it took me to figure that out..
Interesting...
My chair did break around a couple of months ago, so I went back to my old worn-out one
try this driver version

Just from the description, it sounds like it could be a memory issue. Sounds crazy to have a swap partition with 32gb of RAM, but I have 32gb of RAM and my swap still gets used. If you don't have one, you could try shrinking your drive and adding an 8gb swap at the end. I've also seen mismatched RAM modules conflict and cause freezes, even though they were the exact same model numbers, just bought at different times.
Just extended my swap partition. Hopefully it helps
Unfortunately, the increased swap space didn't seem to help because I just experienced another freeze
