It hurts so much

10 days since the breakup. 5 year relationship. talking about the future, marrying and having kids. wasn't the first time that he (30m) broke up with me (29f). this time he was already on dating apps even before telling me it was over. now i feel like trash and am always thinking about how hes meeting new girls in there while i am hurting and dont want to see anyone.

i just feel like the worlds most disposable trash. and the worst is that he blamed it all on me. now hes probably happy and enjoying life since he got rid of his "greatest problem". my friends said it was for the best and that i deserve better. but still it hurts like a knife inside my chest.

You’re not trash. He is for going on dating apps while still in what was supposed to be a committed relationship. For that reason, he is not dating material. Take some time to heal. Be good to yourself.

I'm so sorry about the pain. I'm sure it wasn't actually your fault, since he didn't even want to cooperate about the problems or worries he had

His bad treatment towards you doesn't mean that you deserve it and that you're unworthy. You're still, as always have been, a worthy human. It is for the better that it happened before the kids and marrying, since he's not the one you deserve. You deserve someone who doesn't hurt you and respects your boundaries

I wish you peace along the way!

Do not! Worst thing you can do is

You can't decide if you miss him or not, it's your emotion. It shows how much you loved him

NC is gonna keep you healing, breaking it wil cause massive amounts of anxiety and hurt. I hope you can withstand the urge, it's similar to an addiction, so it's very difficult. So many of us have broken it, even i once did, i regret it so so much but there was a chance that this message was not delivered to my ex

It will get better daily. I know it’s sounded impossible, but it will, slowly, even very slowly. I know how you feel, feeling disposable and unworthy and being told we were good enough and we caused this. It’s still impacted me now but less. Almost 4 months since the break up. Feel free to check my profile to read my story.

Dm me if you want to talk to someone, it helps.

It hurts so badly to feel so easily replaceable. I understand. They’re miserable people. We deserve better, and hopefully, just maybe, we will find better. You matter, and no one can replace you. Everyone has their own shape to fill, and if you’re lucky, you will find it. We’re all lost together, and that much we can appreciate. We can appreciate each other.

Wish you all the best! I’m two days removed from my girlfriend also breaking up with me to see other people after two years. The knife is still very much in my heart. Everyone says it gets better with time. We shall see

It's okay to feel the pain and sadness. Allow yourself the time and space to grieve the end of the relationship. It's a normal part of the healing process.

Lean on friends, family, or a therapist for support. Talking about your feelings with someone you trust can provide comfort and perspective. You don't have to go through this alone.

Consider limiting contact with your ex-partner, especially on social media, to give yourself the space you need for healing. This can help reduce the constant reminders and emotional turmoil.

Take care of yourself physically and emotionally. Engage in activities that bring you comfort and joy, whether it's reading, exercise, or spending time with loved ones.

It's common to feel like you're to blame or that you're disposable, but try to challenge these negative thoughts. Remind yourself of your own worth and that a breakup doesn't define your value as a person.

If your ex blamed you for the breakup, it's important to recognize that relationships are a two-way street. While self-reflection is valuable, avoid taking on all the blame. Set boundaries to protect your emotional well-being.

If the pain becomes overwhelming, consider seeking the guidance of a therapist or counselor. They can provide coping strategies and support tailored to your specific situation.

Get over your ex as FAST as you can say
