can a samsung chromebook handle 76 watts

So my girlfriend managed to break her charger for her chromebook, and i have a good bit of experience with with electronics and stuff ive been tinkering since i was 9. i decided id make her a new one but she cant figure out what model number it is, im in vegas shes in louisiana so i cant just find it myself, i have an old sony vaio pc charger thats 19.5 volts at 3.9 amps (76 watts) and i know that some computers can just take what they need and not get fried but i wanna know if maybe thats a little too much, its a type c samsung chromebook and im 17, if i go to her house for christmas and break her laptop her parents will take my life. help please
