UPS won’t return my package cause I printed a label in black and white.
Context: I have tried returning this package twice now. The contents are just two rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Initially I returned it in the box it came in with the new shipping label and the warning label the package I received came with (picture 1). It was sent back because that label didn’t have the exact text “forbidden aboard passenger aircraft”, so I printed the label with that text (picture 2). Today I came home to find the package returned to me because the border of the hatched border on the new label wasn’t red (picture 3). I am all for safety with packages on aircraft but I’ve never had this issue before when reusing an Amazon box with content labels. Is UPS being petty or am I just crazy? I suppose the best I can do is reprint the label in color and hope it goes through?
