Tips to improve tone?

My guitar songs very harsh or “twangy” on the high E and B strings. Hard to describe, but it’s been bothering me. Seymour Duncan JB humbucker on bridge pickup, volume and tone knobs set low. Any tips for making it more “soft or smooth”. Videos on YouTube sound way better. Using a Boss Katana 50W MKII amp. Maybe this is a stupid question, sorry, but I’ll post a video to help you hear what I am talking about….
