What category do I fit into ?

I know there are many types of magic and that people tend to use or practice with the magic they align with, how do I do that ? How do I know where I belong and what type I resonate with ? In all of my limited experience I have been around plenty of green witches as well as mediums and other spiritualist from different cultures who all seem to have similar practices. They all say that they just knew, it was like reaching into a part of themselves they didn’t know they had. I am very new, a baby if you will to all of these things. Doing some research here and there as it aligned with my interest but recently I really want to align myself and start reaching into my Potential, I just have absolutely no idea where to start. There isn’t a step by step how to and I know that things don’t really work that way but if someone could possibly leave some advice on finding your type and how to tap into that I would really appreciate it.
