Why is is to difficult to trace the ancestors of Swedes or norwegians compared to finns or estonians?

Its clear by genetic testing that finns and estonians came from Siberia. However after googling and reading about this topic no one seema to know where the ancestors of scandinavians came from except from central-europe, and further than that people have no idea. Why?
