Is this cause for breakup?
Hi everyone, I'm seeking for advice..anything would be greatly appreciated.
I found a dating app on my BF's phone recently (though I wasn't able to confirm if he was actively using it or not as I didn't have access to his phone). Later on, he claimed that a friend used his Apple ID to download the application and he doesn't understand how it got onto his phone. It is a bit of a long story... his friend came from another country to visit (October) and wanted to use the dating app, but couldn't make payment for the membership (he told me the issues his friend was facing when it actually occurred…so I am aware of this. Then, he hadn't really mentioned anything of the sort that he gave his Apple ID to him. I made the mistake of confronting him via text, so all possible evidence of the dating app was removed by the time I met him in person.
I asked him to give me his phone and managed to find two things:
- The dating app was downloaded In July and a purchase of $250 was made.
- Deleted message between a girl and him.
He had excuses for both.
- The same friend went to U.S. in July, wanted to make a purchase but couldn't... so he asked mv BF to help him out.. hence the download history.
- Another friend of his from back home to whom he owed a debt asked him for the favor back by making him chat with a lad on his behalf. The reason why is because the friend was visiting the country for a few weeks, didn't have the local number (while my BF did), and asked him to chat with the lady until he met her in person. He claims he only msg her for two days until they met.
I asked for proof, but tbh there aren't any concrete proofs and I do not believe any words that comes out of his friends mouth. I asked him that his friends should provide evidence...but it has been more than a week. There is past history of cheating from him.
