Too soon to start dating?

I broke up with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago but I haven't seen him in about a month. Is it too soon to start dating?

I don't feel like mourning the relationship because it wasn't very long and I do feel "ready". I also opened a Match account yesterday but haven't responded to anyone. I was invited to a dinner by some friends who want to set me up.
