Random God Select Question - For Assault

I thought Assault purely gave a random god every time, regardless of what the enemy team is and what your team comp is. However, I only recently learned that if you have a healer then the enemy team will get a healer (and there are also tiers to the healers). Is there any other non-random quirk about assault besides the healers? I'm just curious cause it doesn't stop an all physical or magical comp, or one with no tank - which to me is a bit weird.
