How to dress for daycare christmas party??

Sorry if it sounds too ignorant..but I do not want to over or under dress my son and I. So what would u typically and your baby wear to baby’s daycare christmas party?. It’s a commercial daycare . Will a light everyday makeup/hair work for me??I don’t like or rather don’t know how to do a full party makeup. Thank u!!
