Question About My Status and What to Expect Further Out

Question

Sorry to ask this question since it's probably been asked before but I just want to get an idea of what to expect in the next couple months and better understand my position in the process. I received an email from my office's HR team stating "You have officially cleared the Security process - congratulations! At this time, there is nothing left for you to do and we just have to wait for you to graduate. As soon as we receive your final transcripts showing you completed 24 hours of accounting classes and your degree was conferred, we can discuss a start date." I was quite surprised by this seeing as I just physically sent my fingerprints less than 1 week ago (my SF86 was sent out via NBIS on the 8th of November). When I read this, I was surprised they seemed to complete my work so quickly since I read on this sub it usually takes months and can tend to require an an interview and such (a lot of my family comes from Syria even though almost all of them are dual US nationals at this point even if I'm only American). When I asked about if this means I'm fully adjudicated, I was emailed back "You have been granted a waiver to be brought onboard. Normally it will take close to a year to be fully adjudicated." Does this mean they granted me an interim clearance or something different?
