I started wearing short sleeves at work, and I have some fairly severe scarring on my arms. Was this a mistake? I've been wearing short sleeves for a little over a week now and I thought I was okay with it but for some reason I feel this huge burst of complete shame and disgust at myself for allowing people to see that. It's, so dumb of me. Was it a mistake to start wearing short sleeves at work? No one has said anything but everyone keeps staring when they're near me.
