I pretended to be a boy to get an online girlfriend

When I was fairly young, I had this game with a chat feature. Anyway, I was seeing people with online girlfriends and boyfriends, and the idea seemed appealing to me. Not a boyfriend, but a girlfriend. My character name could have easily been mistaken for that of a boy, and I changed my character to look like a guy.

Yes, I did deceive someone.

And I know now that it is NOT a good idea to online date and that there are risks.

However, I did discover something when looking back. It somehow took me 14 years to figure out that I was a lesbian
